Since mama and daddy don't like cake, and mama didn't want you eating something quite so processed, we set up a sundae bar for everyone. You and I both had vanilla ice cream with strawberries, which was absolutely delicious.
Of course, since you don't eat a lot of sugar, you turned into quite the dancing queen after dessert.
Even though I asked people to stick with cash gifts since you have so much already, pretty much nobody listened and you got tons of puzzles, a baby doll, a tea set to enjoy with your aunt and the very hungry caterpillar (one of my favorite books when I was little!). You hugged, kissed and patted your baby right away. You might have an affinity for sports, but you're a little mama too and I love it!
No party would be complete without throwing the birthday girl in the pool, right? You showed off all your kicks and splashes and your no-fear of water. Such a happy, blessed girl.
Once again, I hate that you're one already. It was only a blink and a whole year was gone! Only 17 more blinks and you'll be on your own and I HATE that. Stop growing and stay my perfect baby forever okay? Okay.
